Valley View Lodge

Amazing location, with phenomenal views. Lodge though tired good set up, 2 bedrooms, family bathroom and separate 2nd toilet. Good sitting room and good size kitchen. Good outside space, plenty of seating and views beyond calming. Host was very responsive and helpful.

The lodge is very tired, with peeling wallpaper, scruffy rugs covering parts of the floor and generally of an ok clean standard. Though you're always going to get cobwebs when the property is where it is. The outside wrap around decking is in need of TLC but appears solid. Overall for the cost, above average.

Good location for a wedding we were attending

Very run down lodge, carpet cut out under the bed which had been covered with something and wallpaper peeling off walls.

As we were working at the Urdd Eisteddfod just 15 minutes away from the property and the weather was not kind to us ( cold and wet) it was great to come back and relax.The Lodge was comfortable and clean,everything you needed .Lovely views from the property over the Valley, there were 2 pubs just 5 minutes away both doing good food and indian takeaway and a garage with a supermarket for essentials and more.

There wasn't much not to like - reading the reviews yes the outside needs a little TLC ( I'm sure there is a time set for the maintenance) but it didn't spoil our stay and would definitely return

the tranquillity of the site the nearby rivers thewoods the mountain bike trails

bed was slightly uncomfortable in one bedroom other than that no complaints 👌

Everything was great! Lodge was clean comfortable Great for us 2 adults 2 children and a dog , camp was quiet clean and staff and people were friendly pool was great! Perfect for a weekend to chill small park for children also was nice and big feild to walk the dog 100% will be returning local village was nice 10 minutes down the road by car was well worth the price and trip thank you Gemma for a great stay!!

The only thing that I would say is a lock is needed on the gate for the safety of children and dogs. A sun umbrella would be a great item to have outside and stripping the beds was a pain even tho a cleaning fee is paid

The fact this chalet was advertised with facilities which were not available. I basically paid nearly 200 for a chalet. My daughter is heavily pregnant & was left waiting for the keys for the be hour in the cold! Absolutely fuming!

View and clean house. Comfy

The property needs updating. Not enough seating inside the living room. Outside the roof over the seating was broken and unable to use.
