Valley View Lodge

Lovely site with good facilities, a small site but that adds to the charm, the park, swimming pool and parks all lovely too, the little lake gives the lark lots of character too, we enjoyed the alpaca walk and pizza when we stayed. The lodge itself was clean and tidy, very spacious, lovely location and view

The lodge was alittle dated in places, the outdoors patio/ fences could do with a tidy up with some paint maybe, decking and chairs all nice and comfy however, we did get the occasional drain smell in the lodge towards the end of the holiday but im not sure if that was coming from one of the toilets

Really nice little house, was much better than showed on the photos. The Park was amazing and really nice to be there with kids (2 and 4 years). Staff was very sweet and helpful.

Nothing bad to say about this place, we loved it. Maybe it could use a new pan (it very bubbly, but working).

The view, quiet location, small site, not too close to others, close to where we needed to be. Inside very clean and comfortable, All mod cons, good TV choice if you wanted it, etc

Outside deck area could have had a little more attention and cleaning, including the sliding doors - the view is the star after all ! Inside was great standard, outside could do with a little TLC. Would have been helpful to know how to use the TV - 3 remotes, no idea which source to get Netflix of Prime - was a LONG period of trial and error. Only other thing was a clear sign to tell you which property we were aiming for would have been super helpful. The number 8 was painted over in the same colour and there was nothing really to tell us where we were - until we got INSIDE the property, when the directions were all there on a colourful map. Not that helpful when you're still OUTSIDE looking for it though ;-)

The location was fabulous! The space inside the lodge was great, the decking area was brilliant and the views were stunning albeit the lodge decor (bedroom) and garden area need a bit of a tidy up - (Hope you liked the coasters and Eeyore - lol). Very clean, peaceful and tranquil. Loved the small swimming pool and the staff were really helpful and friendly - we would definitley go back!

The wobbly frying pan - lol! No extra tea towels? The unattached gate across the decking (for our dog safety). We had trouble getting a WiFi connection, despite the hosts help, but that wasn't the end of the world! A Guest Book to leave comments in would have been useful.

The lodge was lovely in a beautiful holiday park. Everything went well and lodge was well equipped. Pity we only had the night to stay. Instructions and information prior to arrival very helpful 🤣

Location and cottage was perfect

A nice property, cosy and comfortable beds with clean linenExcellent shower. The coffee and tea and toilet paper was a nice touch. However, lacked a comfortable settee and seating for four. Dining table was very uncomfortable which led to us taking the outside furniture in so we could sit leisurely round the dining table for meals, the kitchen could be better equipped the tin opener did not work and there was no corkscrew. The expel air in the bathroom did not work and there were no instructions for how to work the TV which was extremely complicated with three remotes. The heating was either full on or off. Concerned about the use of gas for the owner, the outside area was a very well furnished but as the weather was not good enough to sit outside. We did not use it outside.
