NR Villa Nilaveli

NR Villa is nestled in the nature, with beautiful green spaces and is a quiet retreat, close to some lovely restaurants and a gorgeous long stretch of beach. The host family are very friendly and welcoming and did everything to make me feel welcome during my stay! They truly went above and beyond with their hospitality and are so kind! 🙏🏼

Everything was great however the mattress has a plastic protector over it, which makes it a little hot in a fan only room. Also no kettle in the room as advertised, but I'm sure if I had asked, they would have provided one!

Nos recibió con fruta y una gaseosa. El anfitrión es simpático. Está cerca de la playa pero alejado del jaleo de restaurantes y demás.

Solo nos pusieron una toalla. La pastilla de jabón que dejaron estaba usada y el baño estaba sucio. La cama es pequeña y el colchón tiene un plástico debajo de la sábana que hace tener más calor. No hay mosquitera.

Rafeet was so friendly, he offered a chai every time we were in the accommodation, he made a great breakfast as well. Also check his restaurant, really worth it especially the curry. 5 minute walk to the beach

A mosquito net and bigger beds would make the stay perfect

NR Villa Nilaveli is owned by a lovely family and is situated close to the amazing Nilaveli beach which is not occupied by tourists even in the high season. We appreciated the cosy shady garden and the very good breakfast for the price. The owner also runs a seafood restaurant, Red Lobster, where we had a delicious dinner.

The beds are quite small for two people (European size). If you are afraid of mosquitoes, bring your own mosquito net.

Lovely family and perfect location (Nilaveli is beautiful). Rooms are basic but all you need, beds are a little small but host offered for us to upgrade to a room with 2beds which we didn't do in the end but they're definitely approachable. Near to bus stop and beach.

È stato un bellissimo soggiorno, la camera è semplice ma pulita, i padroni di casa sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili ad aiutarti e ad organizzare attività. Al mattino mi hanno sempre offerto del te con la frutta, con una bottiglietta d’acqua. Mi sono sentita come fossi a casa!
