All meals are of local cuisine and coffee and tea are available. Razmi the owner is very helpful, his wife and children made me feel very comfortable. The room is cool and comfortable under the trees, and it is a 10-minute walk down to a long beautiful beach where snorkelling trips are on offer. Nilaveli is about 18 km outside of Trincomalee, but the area is serviced every half hour by Bus 900 or Tuk Tuks are available. All the locals are very friendly and greeted me every time I was out walking. The kiddies are so happy riding their bikes, I felt a bit sad leaving. A great place to recharge and chill out.

the location is very good. The Host is a wonderful host, he was always helpful and available 24 hours a day. The room itself is simple but clean and there is a sitting area outside with the garden. The owner also has a beautiful restaurant, where you can have a delicious meal, and if you don’t feel like going, they can prepare a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for you, I highly recommend trying it What I especially liked is that you don’t have to look for anything for entertainment - the owner also provides a boat service where you can see whales, it was an amazing experience. In conclusion, I will say that if you don’t need extra luxury service and you want to spend a lot of time on the beach and explore this coast, then this is the ideal option.

The owner of the homestay was very eager to make my stay without Problems and comfortable. Super hospitable giving teas and Drinks. Super straightfotward Person. I Like IT. I recommend it to anybody coming for a authentic stay at this beautiful Village at nilaveli.

Really nothing to complain, beach is Like 300 -500 m away
