The Chefs Cottage

As I drove to the cottage I was not paying attention to the navigation, just taking in the view. I stopped at what I thought was the most gorgeous mountain side spot, the most perfect spot I’d seen in my many days of travel. After I took in the view I checked the gps for directions again. The cottage was next door. The setting is so beautifully rustic. The cottage and the surrounding area is so well-cared for but also very much under the domain of nature and her plans. Rolling hills, green grass, sheep in the field, blue skies and a soft cool breeze. The cottage was much larger than expected, gracious, open, and perfectly outfitted with a subtle, clean design. Then the host… Chef was indeed a professional. His decades of high-end hospitality and artistic style made for a relaxed, easy-going perfect getaway. Imagine decades of service and care and creation at the highest levels, all brought to his home and guest cottage - so it’s perfection but it’s home, its relaxed, kind, caring… It was hard to leave.

Beautiful breakfast. Private, relaxing location. Lovely decor. Spa pool under shelter was amazing.

5 star accommodation set in rural peaceful surroundings. We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary and endulged on Chef Steve's 4 course meal, which was faultless. The furnishings are top quality, which makes it feel so luxurious.
