"A really special spot in the country"

Such a treat to stay at the Chefs Cottage. We loved how peaceful, comfortable and relaxing it was. We really recommend the delicious dinner and are so glad we added this to our booking. The owners are really lovely as well.

"Beautiful restful spot"

A beautiful spot with excellent hosts and cute friendly dogs! We loved how quiet and peaceful it was, but still close to Waikanae. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and all of the decor at the cottage. Great amenities and warm service. Stephen made us a delicious breakfast and was so kind. We would love to stay again.

Amazing place with amazing hosts, it was everything that was advertised and more. If you are looking for an authentic getaway in a beautiful setting, we would highly recommend. We are definitely coming back, next time to sample chef Steve’s dining experience.

Fabulous weekend at this great spot. If you can, take advantage of the fabulous dinner cooked by owner chef Steve! Truly delicious and so nice to be served a gourmet dinner in such a lovely setting. Thank you very much!
