Jacobite View Pod

Location, close to the town centre and to the Nevis range.

Surprisingly quiet for being beside the train tracks. A good size, clean and tidy. A quick 3 minutes drive to town.

The bed could be a challenge for some being in an alcove constrained by 3 walls. Shower is OK being a in-shower instant electric model. Not great flow.

Lovely location with a beautiful view of Ben Nevis. Convenient access and plenty of parking space. Easily accessible from the main road but located in a quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasing. The town center (restaurants and pubs) is within walkable distance (25-30 min). The Pod was lovely, had everything needed for my 2 night stay. Cosy and comfortable. The bed was really soft, neither too soft nor too firm, just right for me. Would easily oversleep. Not to forget, Claire was a lovely host.

Wifi was intermittent. Not the cleanest apartment. Unsure whether the linens had been changed as there was body hair through the sheets and long hair on the pillowcases. Cheap, thin linens that needed replacing. Clean bathroom but had an overwhelming smell of bleach despite open windows. No instructions on how to use the shower, and the shower ran hot and cold with little pressure. Instructions on how to lock main door would have been nice as handles are different to other countries. The main reason for booking the apartment was to see the Jacobite train go past, not a fault of the property but the rail strikes meant the train wasn’t even running. Very thin curtains so very bright in the mornings.

Great little pod , comfortable, clean & great amenities, host very helpful , close to everything / in walking distance to most spots , lovely view , cosy & warm

No WiFi signal , so was unable to use the smart tv . Cars in and out the carpark all night both nights so did struggled to get sleep until the early hours.
