Jacobite View Pod

We really liked this accommodation. Convenient location, quiet and pleasant place. Inside the house there are all amenities, everything is clean and cozy!

Perfect for two nights. We were climbing Ben Nevis so it was only about 6 mins from the visitor centre.

Our last night was in Fort William after finishing the West Highland Way, and the pod completed an absolutely brilliant week, fantastic wee pod with everything you need for a great stay, bright & clean with great views to Ben Nevis, outdoor seating was great as we were blessed with great weather. You may also be lucky and see the Jacobite steam train, also known as the Hogwarts Express, as it sits right outside the pod.

Leaving, we will definitely return.

Small but perfectly formed little pod on a quiet residential street, within walking distance of Fort William town centre. Ideal for an overnight stop when travelling on the steam train (as we were) Beautifully appointed inside, very clean and comfortable- the double bed is extremely comfy! Sofa bed suitable for additional guest/ child Nice, very clean little shower room with toilet; towels and bedding provided. Stunning views of Ben Nevis (beyond the railway line) Small table and 2 chairs to sit out on a lovely sunny evening. Plenty of room to park next to the pod. Free wifi. Dog welcomed- and plenty of places to walk him on the doorstep. Host very responsive to messages, but gave us privacy during our stay.

Not a negative point: It looks like there might be plans to develop the garden area at the side- this could make a lovely additional feature in the future!

Jacobite steam train goes right in front, the kids loved that. The host was very reactive. Tiny kitchen good enough for breakfast but plan to eat out as there is no dining area.

Too small for a family of 4 in my opinion, especially for 2 nights and sofa bed was too small for 2 kids. People came onto the front terasse which was a bit strange but left quickly.

Lovely view of Ben Nevis, brilliant experience to sit on decking and have a morning coffee while the Jacobite train sets off. Peaceful, private location, everything you need in a pod, comfy bed, clean bathroom, lovely Howdens kitchen, perfect location for climbing Ben Nevis or Town centre visit.

So close to Ben Nevis which is what we came for. Very clean and comfy.
