Great service from Javier and Enrique. Also all other employees were working with a smile and happy to help you with any kind of questions. We also received a nice tour through the beautiful garden. Easy to reach via whatsapp for any questions like boat pick-ups and happy to give tips for traveling. 5 star service! Rooms are clean and comfortable with great beds and it is a beautiful place.

Wonderful hotel right on the waterfront with a view of the castle. The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

You can't go anywhere without a boat.

The location is really wonderful, with a beautiful view on the castle across the Rio Dulce. The staff is so kind and helpful. Prices for breakfast, dinner, and drinks are very reasonable. We took the canoes from the hotel and paddle on the river. So much fun.

There is not so much water in the shower.

Beautiful location, right in front of the fort and surrounded by jungle. It's quiet with a nice pool and lounge area (bring Mosquito spray). Staff was nice and the place has a bar and restaurant which is attended until 10pm. To get to and from the place by boat is easy and you can book several trips and activities from there. Overall, it was worth staying there.

Since the whole cabin is made out of wood, it felt a bit like the people in the room above us would fall through the ceiling every time they were walking. Plus you can hear all the talking from the rooms next door. But I guess that's part of the experience. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the showerhead really needs to be de-scaled so the water actually goes down instead of all other directions.

Given there is no option to cook or go to another restaurant to eat wherever you want, food should be improved. Water in the jacuzzi didn’t look clean but was overdosed with chlorine which caused our bathing suits to loose their colors. We reported it to the manager who covered for it financially.

A wonderful location with a view on the Castillo, but even more the excellent and pleasant service of the staff. An excellent boat service and service with a big smile from Rosmy, Wendy and Ruth. The garden is beautiful and we loved to make a morning or late afternoon walk. And not to forget the Jacuzzi, briljant!

Great location with an amazing view on the river and the castle.

All communication was in Spanish and therefore troublesome for foreigners that do not speak the language. Therefor arranging tours and transport was difficult. As the location is remote, you are dependable on arrangements made by the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very limited and the quality was decent. Prices for food and drinks are fair. The airconditioning in the room is very loud and you can hear everything that is happening in the accommodation.

It would be great if some of the staff could speak some English but they are not at fault and were still very helpful :)
