South Beach Villa

The balcony was amazing. Lots of seating for everyone to enjoy the view. We managed to spot seals and dolphins! It was a very nice touch having the chocolates, biscuits etc left for us. A very nice warm welcome to the stay for us. The property was decorated beautifully. Lots of lovely local pictures, ornaments etc. The welcome folder was also very helpful. Location was great, right on the beach. Easy access for the train into town, which the kids loved!

The window dressings weren't great. The curtains that the windows did have were very sheer, let in lots of light. The internal window blinds were fine for privacy, but not sleeping. Again let in a lot of light. The children didn't sleep very well as a result. Black out blinds/curtains would be much better. The built in bin was broken and slid off the rails. This was rather dangerous especially with young children using it. However we were warned about this on the morning before check in. We did think that some of the mugs/glasses weren't particularly clean, full of tea/coffee stains. They looked like they had been rinsed in water and put in the cupboards. After going in the dishwasher they then came up clean. We did notice crumbs on the coffee tables too. Probably more feedback for the cleaners.

Great location. Very well presented and equipped property.

Unfortunately it’s on a building site with noisy builders from early in the morning including Sunday. Regular HGV deliveries pulling up outside the property. When finished it should be fantastic but not yet able to justifiably charging the premium rates.

It was modern, clean and comfortable. The view was amazing.
