Villa Nina Amalfi

When I say this was the most amazing experience my family had in Italy, I’m not exaggerating. If you are considering a stay on the Amalfi coast, this is the PERFECT way to do it!!! You can easily access the other touristy cities which are a hop and a skip away. The Villa is huge, with each of its unique bedrooms opening onto a tiled veranda that stretches as long as the Villa. There is a hot tub in the perfect nook that overlooks the breathtaking hills and houses - perfect for relaxing in the evening. There is a patio set for enjoying meals, if you choose to use the adorable kitchen. There is even a lemon tree for fish on the grill or lemon/basil infused water (which was left graciously in the fridge on our arrival )! Side note, you can smell basil when you walk along the roads and paths nearby. Incredible. The hosts, Francesca and Roberto are the long lost friends you never knew you had! They are young, energetic (not promising anything, but Roberto carried our bags up the steps!), accommodating, and anticipate your every need without you asking. I swear they are like invisible ninjas! They give you complete privacy with an open invitation to ask them for anything. They helped us navigate the public bus system which isn’t hard to use. Buy bus tickets, groceries, and have a cocktail at Cocktail Bar down the street. Have great food at any of the local restaurants and hang out at Gerry’s Bar. There are neighborhood kids playing football, and adults playing bocce ball. It is night and day compared to the packed streets of Positano. Getting there is easy. The Villa hosts will arrange affordable transportation from Naples (or other cities) via a trusted team of familiar drivers. DON’T rent a car. The streets are for the professionals! This part shouldn’t be last, but we took a cooking class on-site with the hosts that was so much fun!

Our family of 6 just wrapped up a 3 night stay on the Amalfi coast after a few days in Rome. Hotel options would have us book 2-3 rooms total, here we were able to stay as a family with three spacious bedrooms, private kitchen and outdoor space including hot tub! On our arrival they made us two fresh home made pasta dishes with all local ingredients from their garden. It was the best pasta we had in our entire Italy trip including restaurants on Rome. My daughter asked if they had pizza 🤦🏻‍♀️ and they immediately made fresh pizza dough and served us 6 of the best pizzas we have ever had in 3 hours. Our last night we did do a pasta cooking class overlooking the coast which was unbelievable. Their high energy interacting with our kids, picking all the herbs from their garden, lovely music all made for our best night in Amalfi. They do help book private drives, tours (we already booked ours) and help with any and all local needs with their network of contacts as a courtesy. The home is in Perogola which is a bus ride from the Amalfi town center which is what affords you an amazing and quiet view. My kids were confused at how quiet it was - we heard roosters, goats when we watched the sunrise on the deck. A welcome solace from the otherwise very busy towns along the Amalfi coast. If you are looking an authentic Amalfi experience at a beautiful spacious home with hosts who will treat you like family this is for you!

Roberto and Francesca were amazing hosts! They have a beautiful home with exceptional views. They are so warm and helpful we felt like family. They made a delicious lunch when we arrived that was one of the best in all of Italy. The homemade Limoncello was to die for. Yes there are 200+ steps to get to the house but there are steps everywhere in Amalfi. It was no problem. Francesca helped me secure a private driver from Rome to Amalfi and back and a private boat tour that was a highlight of our vacation. We had a fabulous vacation and I hope to visit again!

Roberto and Francesca arranged our transport from the train, meet us when we arrived, showed us the home personally. There are not enough words to explain how wonderful they were to us, very helpful, kind, considerate and just amazing couple!! ! I have never had a host of a ABNB treat us as wonderful as these two. You will not regret staying in this lovely home and meeting this wonderful couple. I highly recommend to take a cooking class, we had so much fun! They truly were just a phone call away, even arranged for our transport to Pompeii. I could go on and on about our stay, so many acts of kindness, above and beyond, treated like family! We will be back, a hundred times over!

Nothing ......we didn't want to leave!

We spent a couple days here during our 2 week Italy trip. Cannot say enough about the lovely hosts Roberto and Francesca! It was like visiting family. They met us at the bus stop and helped us with our luggage. Then they made us the most scrumptious meal! They helped with recommendations and tips to get around Amalfi. They also gave us coffee and biscuits the day we left. My son and I took a cooking class with them, and it was fantastic! Roberto and Francesca are the best hosts we have ever had in all our years of travel! Such a warm couple! The property is beautiful. It is tucked away up in the hills. Was really nice to be away from the touristy crowd. The hot tub was fantastic especially with the gorgeous view. The home is very clean and has everything you need. Highly recommend this property!

Nothing that we did not like!

Francesca and Roberto were the BEST hosts. They were so friendly, lovely and generous and provided lots of information for our stay. Roberto is the strongest man on earth helping with our luggage up to the Villa. We will definitely be back and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Nothing! Perfect place to stay. Only thing to mention for future guests is be prepared for steps but they get easier each day! :-)

The most beautiful views and the most beautiful hosts. The town of Perogla was charming, quiet and lovely people.

The views are amazing. The property is beautifully maintained and very clean. The most spectacular part though are the hosts Roberto and Francesca. From their greeting at the bottom of the stairs to help us get our luggage up to the top to the morning when they saw us off with fresh coffee and croissants, they were so accommodating and friendly. Truly felt like a family experience.

Francesca and Roberto were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them and they really made us feel welcome. The villa is beautiful, clean and spacious with an amazing view. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are huge with plenty of storage and decorated really nicely. The hot tub is a really nice addition for the evenings and there is a barbecue and plenty of outdoor space. Our friends did the cooking class run by Roberto and they said it was an amazing experience. The location is lovely, very quiet and away from the crowds and there are a few bars and restaurants a short walk away.

The only thing is that there are a lot of stairs up to the property, but if you're coming to the Amalfi coast you should expect some stairs!

Francesca & Roberto were unbelievable! They cooked for us & treated us like family. We would absolutely come back and stay again! They made our first time in Italy AMAZING!
