The Wine Cellar

The kitchen was good, and the equipment was clean and a decent standard. The archway sleeping area fit the pictures.

The bathroom wasn't clean, and the shower head wouldn't stay in place. There was a smell of damp in the bathroom, and drainage parts had been left in the window. The sleeping area had damp walls despite looking warm and inviting. On our first night, the next-door apartment was occupied by teenagers who were slamming doors till 230 am, and the door to our apartment didn't feel so secure. The area outside the flat is a typical back alley that is in desperate need of a cleanup. The parking wasn't ideal and would advise to park elsewhere. We ended up blocked in for the final day of our stay after checking out.

The little apartment was very clean and quirky, warm and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance to the town centre, and was in a relatively quiet location considering its in a busy town.

The parking was problematic - the parking in front was taking up by 3 cars and a very old looking and rusted motorbike. My husband stopped in the very narrow lane that leads to the flat to unload our bags. We immediately got into an altercation with a local resident, telling us we could not park there and we were blocking the lane. So my husband managed to reverse down, which was quite a feat, and then find another parking space. The parking area is full of large bins and rubbish is everywhere. We were disturbed by people walking past putting rubbish in the bins, and also people collecting their cars late at night. I would suggest checking out other car parks before you travel, and park elsewhere. There are car parks nearby.

Everything was clean and had everything you needed. The location was perfect and access was easy.

The parking. There were already 2 cars parked meaning we had to park next to the bins on uneven ground which isn’t grate for the type of car we have. If I had been there during the week when the bins were collected this would have been an issue. For this reason we will not be booking this stay again.

Parking can be an issue & lots of rubbish outside. Furniture too low for anyone with limited mobility like me. Beware of ceiling if you're tall & steps in property after a night out. Toilet a little tight to a unit.

Fantastic location. Apt ok. Bad and sofa very low to ground, prob fine for most, but i did struggle a bit.

Cute and cozy. Well equipped. Clean.

Bit noisy at night but to be expected with people leaving pubs to head home. Not a huge issue.

So unique.. staying in a wine cellar !! So snug and cosy… Great that you can park outside.. Right in the centre of town… Full Kitchen etc.. Will stay again
