The views and layout are perfect if you want to wake up in nature. The top room was so beautiful, waking up to the sounds of the birds and squirrels overlooking a tree top

Very clean and accommodating. Lovely room with gorgeous view. We moved here late at night and they helped arrange a taxi for us and even gave us a room upgrade. Good location generally.

We love a pool which the property dosent have but everything else we couldnt fault. You could walk into Ella town but was still a 30 min walk

An absolutely beautiful hotel, extremely peaceful in the morning and day time. Lovely staff and extremely clean. We could not fault the actual hotel it really is beautiful.

The other reviews about noise aren’t wrong. We are good sleepers so ignored the other reviews and we were up till 3am trying to sleep. The insects outside are LOUD and sound like car alarms. The loud air conditioning does help drone this out and slightly less annoying. If there other people in the hotel coming in late you will hear them.

It’s in the nature, so you can relax on the balcony. It was super clean, although we were unfortunate to find some bugs inside, which I believe is unavoidable when it’s in the jungle. In general it was at top level compared to other properties we saw around. The staff were super helpful, especially Tony. The bathroom was really nice and the bed comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed a luxury stay for 3 days.

A little remote to Ella, so you will need to take a tuk Tuk a few times(ranging 400 to 700 LKR). It’s walking distance but uphill and then downhill. The breakfast policy is not clear and comms in English were hard sometimes. We found the pillows to be very tall for our taste, could do with some smaller ones. Unfortunately we could also hear the echo sounds that others mentioned, but it was not a big problem to sleep, even for me as a sensitive sleeper. I would have liked to know when and if there is a room cleaning service, or have the choice of declining it with a Knob label. We returned early on one day to find them in the middle of cleaning of our room, but in general we are not comfortable with room cleaning when we stay in a room, so that we can leave our valuables without worrying. Parking is limited, on the street.

Big empty room with hardly amenities…. Not worth for the money they charge. No WiFi and mobile data signals are pretty weak at night. Though parking is mentioned you have to park by the road. If the owners car is parked there staff will ask you to park under a tree.
