The heart of Huddersfield hideaway

Location was good as everything was within a few minutes walk at most. WiFi had good connection for tv.

Bad smell coming from the house. Hairs on the bed. Wasn’t given correct code to get into apartment and had to keep calling host. Property didn’t feel clean. Bed wasn’t very comfy.

The address does not have a number on it so took me a while to find it. When I got to the room the key code was incorrect, luckily for me an agent was there to make up the room, (although told it would be ready at 2pm) so was able to get in and have the code reset

I thought the apartment had GREAT potential, it had all I would need for a stay, location was fantastic, if arriving by train or coach, but if driving there is no free parking close by and street parking outside is just short stay. Think they should provide a best and reasonable location for parking as some advice. I know Hudds, so parked for free about a 15 minute walk away. No WIFI in our room, I would invest in a decent mattress, one provided very thin. Apartment felt a bit rushed, recently done, but paint on a few things, and put together quickly. Our room was not made up when we arrived, but was completed an hour later when I returned from parking the car.

Perfect for Huddersfield and lovely view of the square from the window.

There was no issues here it was literally as it looks in the photos spacious.

Excellent location near to bus and train stations. Also shops. Very good value for the money.

The apartment hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival, the bed was unmade, there was a wet bath towel on the kitchen table, one hanging over the kitchen door and another on the sofa. There was also litter on the sofa, rubbish in the bathroom waste bin and not enough loo roll (I eventually found some under the kitchen sink.) The host contacted me on the evening of our stay to ask if everything was ok and I told them about the bed and the towels. To be fair, I did say that we were only there for one late night (so wasn’t expecting them to make a special trip to clean) but was surprised they didn’t even reply, let alone apologise for the lack of cleanliness. I’d also advise other travellers that due to the central location and busy nightlife, it was noisy until the early hours of the morning.
