Absolute Lebensgefahr beim Verlassen des Parkplatzes, das Anbringen eines Verkehrsspiegels wäre sehr ratsam. Durch die Lage nah am Wasser sehr laut durch die Wellen. Keine Sonne den ganzen Tag auf Grund der nördlichen Lage! Der "Balkon" befand sich außerhalb des Appartements.

Our stay at The Wave Studio in São Vicente, Madeira was truly unforgettable. From the very moment we arrived, we felt exceptionally welcomed. A lovely woman greeted us and personally showed us to the apartment, which is located right above the Atlantic Ocean — with waves literally crashing against the building’s façade. Inside, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, glasses, and a handwritten welcome letter from the owner, which immediately set a very special tone. The apartment itself is beautifully designed — cozy, thoughtful, and perfectly in harmony with its surroundings. Opening the window felt as if you were standing in the middle of the ocean. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, soothing, and deeply inspiring. The owner is a very warm and kind person who lives nearby and has several dogs. Seeing him walking them around the area added to the soulful, authentic charm of the place. The entire village is calm and serene, with excellent restaurants just a short walk away — a perfect location for slowing down and truly relaxing. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped. The bathroom was beautifully designed, down to carefully chosen lighting. The interior décor reflected the natural character of the area and was simply stunning. The kitchen had everything one could need: coffee, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, and even milk in the fridge. We were also delighted to find a small gift of local cookies and gingerbread waiting for us. I stayed here with my father, and we were both absolutely amazed by the care, attention to detail, and atmosphere of this place. It was a truly beautiful experience — one we will remember for a long time. I would love to return one day.

Nothing

The apartment is beautifully decorated. This is not your Ikea Airbnb but a tasteful selection of wonderful pieces. We felt right at home. Absolutely nothing was missing, from a well stocked high class kitchen to board games and extra blankets. The hosts are super responsive.

Zeer ruim, prachtig uitzicht! Goede faciliteiten! En een welkomstmand met wat lekkere producten, heel leuk!

Jammer dat je niet echt buiten kunt zitten. Er zit wel een hostel met terras bij, maar weet eigenlijk niet of je daar ook gebruik van kunt maken.
