It looks nice and decorated nicely. It has all the aminities you might need and it is right next to the ocean.

I was sorry to learn, that the room I had booked was actually adjoined room, meaning we could hear absolutely everything from the apartment next to ours. When they go to the shower, sneeze, cook dinner, eat dinner, talk, or watch tv. And none of this is rude, just normal living, but you hear everything, it's like they are in your livingroom. Also both beds should be changed: we stayed for 9 nights and woke up dozens of times per night because the bed was quite unvomfortable and also made a really loud squeaky sound everytime either of us moved a bit. So we did not sleep much or got much peace and quiet here.

Literally right on the ocean! Apartment was huge, great kitchen and decor was so unique.

Some noise transfer from apartment next-door, moisture and mildew was an issue but they had a dehumidifier running 24/7 which helped greatly. This is an inevitable part of being so close to the ocean!

Everything was perfect

The Waves is all about the location, with the waves literally crashing on to the wall in front at high tide, and the most compelling of seascapes. The apartment was huge and comfortable, with eclectic furniture and a well-equipped cooking area. Outside space is limited to a small terrace shared with other guests in the hostel below, so in the warmer summer months that wouldn't be ideal. In November, however, we just opened the picture windows to the view.

Everything at The Waves was amazing! You're right on the water in a beautiful apartment, with great access to Sao Vincente. I highly recommend it here. The owner is very helpful and so is Carla! Great team! Thank you so much!

The apartment had everything you can need from washing machine to kitchen tools. Even all necessary cooking supplies were there, which is not common. We were given wine and a lot of other perks such as local bread, mineral water, beer, local sweets, milk and fruit at our arrival.

Bed was not really comfortable, I had issues with sleeping each night. The apartment equipment and overall property was felt to kitsch for us.
