The house had everything you could want in abundance - all the accommodation was beautifully styled and spacious

The house was stunning and well furnished with everything you need! As someone who loves to cook the kitchen was dreamy. The location was also perfect and we felt very safe with the night guard. Louise and the other staff were also very helpful.

Super comfortable with all the comforts of quality in every aspect. Impeccably decorated with a beyond fully equipped kitchen. Even though it was icy cold outside the heating elements in this home keeps the entire house warm and toasty! Bedrooms all separate with en-suite bathrooms were amazing and totally private from each other. A little note of improvement could be lighting in bedrooms could be a little brighter with an adjustable dimming option. The outside area with the hot tub lovely, clean and comfortable with all the necessary equipment for a relaxing soak in the tub.

Although it might be out of control the level of noise from vehicles blasting their music whilst parking at a vacant parking area behind the property is quite disruptive. This happened on both nights we stayed which was over a weekend. Possibly this could be noted to report to Tulbagh authorities as it’s no fault of the property owner.

Everything! We were warmly welcomed by Louise, who gave us some wonderful info on the house, the town, and nearby activities. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped. We had an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay, and the spaces were perfect for socialising.

That we had only booked 2 nights!

We loved everything about the house. The location was perfect for the Christmas in winter festival, and we have already booked the house again for next year! The house is very well stocked and loved the fact that there were proper thin wine glasses!!

The only thing that could make it better is if there was a bath (more convenient for the kids, but we came prepared with an alternative), a built braai instead of a weber, and an extra seat or two in the lounge.

Loved the authentic historical feel and attention to detail. Also appreciated the accommodating staff.
