Very friendly staff who always helped out with a smile. The property is beautiful and charming. I also enjoyed the living room area which had a small garden outside. The rooms are quite spacious and have either window or terrace. All rooms are quiet and comfortable. It was lovely to experience a typical Japanese style house and to experience sleeping on a mattress directly on the floor. Cozy feeling. The location is also good. Just 10 minutes walk to the subway from where you can easily reach the Gyon district where the Geishas are. Hope to be back again!

The guesthouse was a nice way to experience a traditional Japanese house. The view of the garden from the living room is beautiful ! It is quite close to the Funoaka onsen. The receptionist was helpful for finding a restaurant. The neighbourhood is also really cool !

I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast (small portions western style and self-service). We had to make our own coffee but is was really good (grinder and drip coffee equipment). Also, it is typical for these houses : no insulation wharsoever but the other guests was respectful and the room well equiped for heating.

寒い時期だったので、共同のお風呂やトイレに行くのに、勇気がいりました。気候の良い時期なら、もっと楽しめると思います！

The house is beautiful and has a full kitchen to use. It really felt like home :) The other guests were so nice as well, I will come back here.
