The location and the Wi-Fi were good

The room wasn’t very clean, broken toilet seat, bathroom window that wouldn’t open, bed uncomfortable. Never anyone on the Reception, they give you number to Call and then they don’t answer or respond to texts. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and I’m afraid the Hotel was a letdown.

Pillows too hard for me I had the unlucky draw of room next to reception so my chairs outside the room were facing a grey concrete wall and dark, the upper floors and other rooms get a view of the gardens and sunny space

Ali, Yoosuf and the team were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location

Die Lage und Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist äusserst nett. Whaleshark und Manta-Tour haben wir über das Hotel gebucht und war top… Sie haben mit Drohnen nach den Tieren gesucht und waren entsprechend erfolgreich. Allgemein wird sehr stark ein Servicegedanken im Hotel gepflegt. Würden wieder kommen.

Frühstück ist okay aber nichts spezielles. Preis der kombinierten Tour Whaleshark und Manta könnte noch transparenter aufgeführt werden.

From the very first impression when we arrived at the port from our ferry to the birthday surprises and final goodbyes, Sands Grand I can highly recommend! The staff were super friendly and accommodating for every need. Our bedroom was decorated for our friends birthday before we arrived and again on her actual birthday plus balloons and chocolate cake! Our room was cleaned everyday, being provided with fresh shower and beach towels as well as drinking water. The breakfast was great too! The location is okay, a short 10/15 minute walk to the bikini beach with many tourist shops, beach food carts and restaurants dotted about the island. Excursions are easy to book through hostel and are brilliant value for money. A huge shoutout to Ali Shaheen who is the general manager and a friend for life, we can’t thank him enough for his kind heart and warm soul. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to every body! Thank you so so much Sands Grand!! xx

The room was clean and big with a fridge and a kettle. Breakfast was delicious. Owners very kind. However there was a leak in the bathroom resulting in a wet floor for my entire stay ( they gave me some towels to put on the floor)
