Sands Grand

Veškerý personál byl velmi milý a ochotný, se vším nápomocný, exkurze super, hezky zorganizované, pokoje čisté, úklid super. V "centru" ostrova, přesně na opačné straně než bikini beach, chůzí 20 min, možnost půjčení kol. V tomto směru nemám co vytknout👌👍

Velký problém bylo jídlo. Od plne penze bych očekávala alespoň nějaký výběr jídla. Tady jste měli každý den to samé. Snídaně na výběr omeleta nebo francouzský toast. Oběd a večeře se točilo na výběr smažená rýže s kuřecím nebo smažené kuře a další varianta byla těstoviny nebo smažená rýže s tuňákem. Vařili skvěle, to ano, ale když jíte týden 6 jídel dokola je to špatné. Hotel doporučuji, ale bez stravy, plná penze se rozhodne nevyplatí. Všude kolem spousty restauraci, kde se najite za pár korun.

La verdad no me ha gustado nada.

Lo primero que vimos al entrar en la habitación fue una cucaracha enorme muerta, y no tuvieron la delicadeza de compensarnos el mal trago. El colchón de la cama es súper duro, imposible descansar en esa cama. La limpieza no era profunda, había polvo, y la mampara del baño o la grifería estaban sucias. El baño olía a fosa, y las tuberías hacían ruido. El desayuno incluido es pobre, por llamarlo de alguna manera, después tuvimos que ir a desayunar en condiciones a otro sitio. Intentamos cenar la primera noche pero la comida no estaba buena. También alquilamos dos bicis a 10 dólares por bici un día entero, como solo teniamos euros y no podíamos pagar con tarjeta nos cogió los 20 euros sin darnos cambio, porque decía el chico que euros y dólares son lo mismo cuando no es verdad, salimos perdiendo. Las bicis están viejas, oxidadas, sin frenos, súper incómodas así que apenas las cogimos. Además, cuando ya las habíamos devuelto y ya estábamos acostados para dormir me escribe el chico de recepción que me había cogido los 20 euros, para que pasara por recepción para pagar las bicis. Un despropósito todo. Menos mal que solo estuvimos dos noches. No lo recomiendo para nada. Es muy caro para lo que ofrece.

We spent here 1 week with my family and would return at any time. The staff is really friendly and kind, breakfast and dinner were always tasty and the waiter was always very polite, the excursions are organized very professionally and are highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and clean and even if we had problems with e.g. the AC, it was taken care of right away. Shaheen, the manager went above and beyond to feel ourselves relaxed, he even helped to get my lost luggage back, which he was not forced to do. We had very well organized excursions with both him and Yoosuf. I recommend both the whaleshark and the manta tours, they were very honest about what to expect but we were taken care of the whole time, even when a lot of people were surrounding us. I'm not sure about other hotels, but here we really felt they are happy to have us. I hope Sands Grand will have a bright future, they deserve it!

La ducha que el agua no salía muy caliente

The staff were exceptionally friendly. They helped us with everything. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel where the food is very good. The manager was extremely friendly! Our bed was very comfortable, and the accommodation is in a good location, about 200 meters from the harbor. God bless every member of the staff, and we wish them all their dreams come true!

Que bajamos a las 9:30 y no pudimos desayunar con nuestro bebé, cuando en toda la isla siempre pudimos hacerlo incluso a las 11 am 😢 y el agua caliente le costaba en salir

El personal del hotel es encantador, siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Nos alojamos con media pensión, merece la pena, desayuno y cena muy buenos. La ventaja de alojarte en Dighurah es que puedes hacer snorquel en la orilla de la playa, el arrecife está muy cercano por lo que no es necesario contratar la excursión, y el tiburón ballena se encuentra por esa zona, por lo que hay que desplazarte para realizar la excursión. Yosuff siempre nos aconsejó muy bien en todas las actividades a realizar.

Las actividades tienen un previo elevado, pero como en todo Maldivas.

i would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay, brilliant communication from shaheen and yoosef before my trip with all information regarding excursions, and what to expect coming to a local island. they made everything easy to book in and supporting us each day with great excursions, i recommend all of the excursions!! we saw manta rays, sting rays, nurse sharks, we did lots of snorkling, (they have flippers and masks there if needed and life jackets so i didnt feel scared on any excursion! they also used their go pro to film some cool videos and shared them for free, very nice) you can tell the captains on the excursions look make a big effort to find the sea creatures and to go out on the sea and that we are safe there! thank you again!! the hotel booked the speed boat transfer and made it easy. they have an option to rent a motorcycle which we did to get around the island quickly, we enjoyed going to the sandbank and watching the sunset. they have a restaurant on site, food was limited due to availability on the island which is normal, every meal was good, and they suggested many places to go around the island, we like the tea pot restaurant, absolute thai and aveli. all staff are lovely, from the kind guy who cleaned our rooms everyday to the guys in the restaurant, and again special thank you to shaheen and yoosef. they also made a special moment on our first day, by decorating the bed and bringing out a birthday cake for my boyfriend on the first day which just started our holiday in a beautiful way. thank you guys!!
