Lombard Hide Away

Kellemes, otthonos, jól felszerelt, tiszta lakás a 2. emeleten, a városközpontban. Pár perc séta a buszállomás és a vasútállomás, a közelben van több élelmiszer bolt is. Két külön szoba van, a konyhában minden szükséges eszköz megvan, ami kell. A szállásadó kedves, segítőkész, nagyon jól éreztük magunkat! Ha lakást vennék Invernessben, pont egy ilyet keresnék!

A fürdőszobát nehéz volt befűteni, mert elég kicsi a radiátor, kicsit hűvös volt fürdés közben, de nem vészes.

Appartamento al terzo livello senza ascensore; la biancheria del sofa era sporca: l'host per fortuna e' intervenuto immediatamente fornendo indicazioni per la biancheria pulita. Abbiamo dovuto farci il letto. Mancano elettrodomestici utili in cucina come il microonde.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the apartment during our visit to Inverness and the Highlands. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, bright, and welcoming the space felt. The apartment was beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed, cozy living area, and a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to feel right at home. Its central location meant we were just a short walk from Inverness Castle, charming local shops, and restaurants. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, from complimentary teas, coffee to the easy self-check-in process. The apartment also had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and dryer, which was incredibly convenient during our stay. Overall, the combination of comfort, cleanliness, location and warm host made our stay exceptional. We couldn’t recommend this apartment more highly and would gladly return on our next trip to Inverness. It truly was the perfect base for exploring the beauty and history of the Scottish Highlands.

I liked everything.

A very pleasant & comfortable apartment, based in the City Centre close to all amenities. I had all I needed for a wee home from home whilst waiting on my granddaughter to arrive! About a tenner from city centre to Raigmore Hospital in a taxi but there’s a good bus service if you time it right! Interactions with the hosts were perfect, although with having DDD I wish I’d known there were a few stairs up. Iron broke, it was replaced that evening & staying on an extra night was no issue. Thanks v. much! 🤩

Stairs up, minor issues advised & easily solvable. Chippy across road gets rowdy at closing time but I just laugh & start reminiscing! 🥹💃

Appartamento carino in zona centrale. Possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento a circa 10’minuti a piedi.

We loved the entire apartment. It was spacious, comfortable, and extremely close to everything in downtown Inverness. It is a literal 4-minute walk to the train station and 3-10 minutes to everything else in the city. The bed was spacious and comfortable, as was the living room. The kitchen had updated appliances, so this could become a long weekend or week-long stay for those wondering.

The apartment is in a very old building, so do expect some water to drip down the window frame in the living room when it's wet outside. The owner is aware of this. Also, there is a late-night takeaway business a few doors down which is busy most nights until 2am. The noise from the crowd can be heard from the bedroom. I highly recommend that those who are worried about not getting sleep pack a portable white noise machine or wear nighttime earplugs. We always bring earplugs on every trip, which came in handy and drowned out all outside street noise. Even with the noise at night and small water leak around the window, the comfortable & spacious apartment in the heart of Inverness far outweighs these.
