Langhouse Castle Bed and Breakfast

We loved the peace and quiet, waking up to look over the fields to the village on the other side of the creek. The walking track to town along the creek was beautiful, with wildflowers, waterfalls and birds. Our hosts, Lorna and Gordon, waited on us and we wanted for nothing. The Scottish breakfast prepared by Gordon, was spot on! There were also many choices of side dishes (cereal, fruit, buns, yoghurt, etc). A perfect relaxing retreat.

It is a lovely tiny castle. The outside maintains the original heritage but inside it has been renovated with exceptional taste. Everything is very well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was great and catered for my allergies.

I loved the remote peaceful location It is nestled in the woods No noise Looking into the field with the horses Our room was immaculate The linen in the bed spotless The en-suite immaculate and soap products were a high quality, brand new towels and lots of hot water in the rainfall walk in shower We had a large RV with full access to Netflix and other channels Our host told us to help ourselves to the refreshments in both the room and the dining room- which we did Our host was so welcoming and she prepared the best Scottish breakfast I have had in a long time - thank you Lorna

Great view. Excellent facilities. First class breakfast and choice.

Excellent rooms warm friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast was as much as you wanted and freshly cook when you were ready for it. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely beautiful,fresh and hot. Excellent variety of cereals,juices,fruit,pastries ,drinks etc. in addition to an enormous full cooked Scottish breakfast and toast.
