Langhouse Castle Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was home cooked, delicious and plentiful.

Quite honestly, this place exceeded my expectations and made our trip so memorable. Its quiet location and building structure equated warmth, comfort, and peaceable surroundings. Our room was exquisite with tiny details that showed we were appreciated and cared for by the owners. From the amenity tray of coffees, teas, and snacks to the quality shampoo/conditioner/soaps, everything was well thought out. Our full traditional Scottish breakfast was the absolute best and never bested by anywhere else we stayed touring Scotland. If the food and the room and comfortable bed weren’t enough, then the charm of our host definitely was. We immediately felt at home. The warmth and comfort of this place encourages all who come to stay a wish to stay longer. One night was not enough.

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay another night or two. The hospitality and comfort of not just our room but the building itself and the charm of the host will be our reason to visit Scotland again.

Everything was amazing! The room had everything you could possibly need, hair dryer, new toothbrushes and tooth paste as-well as female products incase people forget. It had a great selection of tea, coffee and snacks in the room with water too. The breakfast was amazing value for money and was cooked perfectly. There was also a large selection of continental breakfast too and a full fridge of drinks to help yourself too as-well. The host Gordon was so welcoming and friendly! Went out of his way to give us plates and set the table up when he seen us come back with our dinner. He then did a great breakfast service and was more than welcoming! By far the best stay we have ever had and we will definitely be back!

Lorna and Gordon are the perfect hosts, a warm welcome showed us to our clean and well stocked room , plenty or facilities, tv, storage, tea and coffee and also a good selection of biscuits. Bed is super comfortable and the best thing is views . WOW! Gordon cooks a fantastic Scottish breakfast plenty of choice for drinks orange , mango the list goes on . 10 out 10 . When we visit home again that’s where we are heading .

Perfect location, facilities perfect, totally immaculate, very welcoming. Never stayed in a B&B before but this was a great experience.

Excellent welcome and all amenities explained. Beds are on of the most comfortable I have slept in.

Everything perfect from arriving to leaving. Our hosts were welcoming, extremely helpful and went above and beyond everything. Room was brilliant with lots of goodies provided. Couldn't have asked for more and will definitely stay again .

The castle is beautifully situated at the top of a hill, looking out over a pasture and the rolling hills beyond. Very scenic. The castle itself is beautifully decorated and furnished, the room is quite large and everything is modern and well tended. Breakfast was terrific, one of the best and largest full Scottish breakfasts I’ve ever enjoyed and the proprietors were always interested and invested in my comfort and satisfaction.
