Basilica View II Vintage Apartment

Everything was perfect during our stay in Budapest. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location, very close to everything we needed. The view towards St. Stephen’s Basilica was amazing and made our stay even more special. We truly felt like we were at home. A special thank you to the owner, who was extremely helpful, kind and discreet at the same time. She was always available when needed, while also respecting our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay and we would happily choose this apartment again when visiting Budapest.

Honestly, there was nothing important that we did not like. If we had to mention something, it would only be that we would have liked to stay more days in this beautiful apartment and in Budapest.

Unique, great host, super location

Absolutely perfect location with everything you’d want to do in Pest right on your doorstep. We stayed in December and from the 4th-floor windows could look straight down onto the Christmas markets and St Stephen’s Basilica, which was pretty special. There are excellent restaurants all within a very short walk, and the apartment itself is spacious and well set up, with a proper kitchen and very good internet. It was clear the owner had thought of every little detail to make the stay comfortable and easy. Kata, the owner, lives next door and was fantastic. Communication via WhatsApp was effortless whenever we had a question, and her local tips and restaurant recommendations were spot on. There’s a supermarket just around the corner, and getting to the train station was simple on our departure with a Bolt taxi. We were welcomed with sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival, and even more chocolates on departure — a really thoughtful touch. Highly recommended and a wonderful place to stay.

The attention from the owner is special, she provided us with all informations. Super friendly, thanks, Kata! The studio is at the last floor (with lift) and we were exactly in front of the Cathedral! The area is The Center, not only close by. By foot is possible to visit the old jewish area, the entire center of Peste and is 2 blocks far from the bridge to Buda! Incredible good!

The washmachine had a problem before our stay and it was not working. But Kata, the owner, washed our clothes in her own machine. In the end, no problem at all!
