The Grace Siargao

The room is clean. Beds are comfy. Fairly private and seems to be secured and safe. Plenty of access to transportation. Not too far from Tourism Road.

We arrived in the island quite early (8AM) and we knew that the standard check in was 2PM. But I tried asking the host if we can check in early because we were quite tired from the travel, no sleep at all. The host said the earliest check in can be at 1PM. We went to a restaurant to grab some breakfast first and hang out until 11AM. We decided to go to the place so we can just wait there til check in time. It was kinda hot at the spot they asked us to stay at. Didnt offer a fan or anything. By this time we were exhausted, dealing with a headache because of the heat. The location is a little farther from the beach than expected, but not unreasonably far. Expectation versus reality type situation. Expectation was beachfront access, which this isn't, however, a short Tuktuk ride (5-7 mins to cleaner beach access). Door doesn't stay locked, can jiggle open (at least my door in unit F). AirCon shut off during the night when I need it the most.

location is little far from the city centre but overall good experience

The transaction was very smooth. Everytime you need something, just ask the staff and they will get back to you in less than 5 minutes. The bed was big, comfortable. The closet tho lacks hangers to keep that in mind. There were only 4 sockets in total so better bring extras for charging. The air-conditioning was decent. Overall, a very good stay.

The bathroom was clogged, everytime we take a bath the floor gets flooded, but it is draining but it was slow. But doesn't affect the overall stay.

I'm a freelancer so a stable wifi connection and power supply are a must. I love that they are using solar panels for electricity with a backup generator. The room was humongous! It fits a group of 4-6 persons. The bathroom is clean. The closets are spacious. The building was new so they have great facilities. We wish we booked The Grace for our first night as the previous inn was a huge disappointment!

It was raining, cloudy, and windy when we stayed there so their Starlink Internet connection was intermittent which affected my work. Good thing Smart mobile data was still working. 🤗 I wish we stayed longer. 😞.

Host is responsive. Spotless , location and it’s worth the money. Will definitely come back again

The staff was nice and friendly

The room was nothing like the picture. It was dirty, I found used condoms under the bed, the dust layer on the furniture was so thick I could write in it, AC was loud and the room was very dark as under the roof- also no net on the window frame so impossible to get some fresh air into the room without bugs and mosquitoes
