Poihipi Farm Stay

This small quaint older farm home has a retro vibe. It was very clean and spacious. Everything was older but worked. Bed was comfortable. Grounds were nice.

The location was a problem for us. When I think of a farm, I don't think of the house being less than 100m from a highway intersection and that house shuddering and rattling day and night every time a big truck passes. Not good. The listing indicates continental breakfast is provided. That should be reworded to say that basic breakfast groceries are in the kitchen so you can make your own breakfast.

Beautiful setting. Immaculately clean. Plenty of breakfast options. Quite spacious. Very comfortable. Host welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing was it was a bit tight driving up to the property but not a big deal.

A very comfortable property with bags of character and plenty of space. Great wrap round deck, which was perfect for alfresco dining. Location was ideal for sight seeing. Our hosts, Deb, Wayne and John couldn’t have made us feel anymore welcome. We really wish our itinerary had allowed us to stay much longer than the four nights.

Nice cosy cottage-well equipped with everything you need. Good breakfast food & tea/coffee ect. Very clean-happy to recommend .
