Ella bay homestay

Ella Bay war die charmante und schönste Unterkunft, die wir in Sri Lanka bewohnen durften! Das Haus und das Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und die Gastgeberin und ihr Sohn waren ganz besonders freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr sehr angenehm! Das Frühstück war der Wahnsinn. Die Menge und Auswahl der selbstgemachten Speisen hat uns jeden Morgen versüßt. Wir haben es geliebt, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die Affen im Dschungel zu beobachten oder mit dem Kater zu schmusen. Der Sohn Emosh hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und uns mit dem Tuctuc in die Stadt genommen, wenn er auch gerade auf dem Weg war. Man konnte die Strecke in dir Innenstadt aber auch ohne Probleme laufen. Ein großartiger Ort und tolle Leute! Danke!

We loved the place: so peaceful, far enough from Ella center to enjoy the sounds of nature and not the ones of the restaurants. Everything was perfect, very clean. We had the best breakfast with jungle view. Mom and son were really nice to us, the best stay so far!! Really recommend

The people were great- very friendly and helpful; breakfast was good, location is pretty and about a 15 minute walk from town; room was comfortable

Room was very humid and damp, and there is not enough air circulation; would help a lot to have screens on some windows so we could open them without letting bugs and creatures in

These hosts are so beautiful and make sure everything you need is available! The location is a little walk from the town but he insisted on giving us a lift there and back. Breakfast was wonderful and we also paid doe him to take us up to the Monastery and he was a wealth of information so came in with us to explain which was so nice

We loved the friendly family that feeds you breakfast everyday and will offer you pick up and drop off service in town. We love the views from my breakfast spot. We were able to watch and observe monkeys and birds from outside our accommodation. They never came close enough for us to be worried about.

We usually book accommodations with AC, but the fan was more than enough and we never got hot at night.

The bed is exceptional. Most comfortable stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Also the Mountain View is hard to beat. The family who hosted us was also some of the nicest people we’ve met in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner with them and mom really knows how to cook!
