Dinner at the restaurant was not good. We were expecting more traditional Amazigh or Tunisian food, and instead we got oily fried chicken.
USReally neat staying in a cavelike hotel and room cut out of the rocky hill. Lots of hot water. Good bed. Close to restaurants.
Minor inconvenience of walking through caves up and down a few stairs to get to room but still a great experience and place to stay.

PLHôtel Les Berbères is a gem! This family-run troglodyte-style hotel has been around since 1975, and you can feel the tradition and warmth. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms, carved into the rocks, are super unique, well-furnished, and come with a private toilet and shower. And the food? Absolutely amazing! For just 25 dinars, you get a massive dinner : soup, salad with brick, main dish, and dessert. Good luck finishing it all! 😄 Plus breakfast is included. A fantastic place to stay for an authentic and cozy experience!

Nothing at all
PRGBAbsolutely everything. My favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. We arrived late, from the hospital and an incredible meal was waiting in our room. The staff were incredible. Food was amazing. Everyone looked after our gluten-free, vegetarian diet. The room was in a cave (we stayed in Room 4), the maid even helped my wife with her hair because she had a cast on her hand. We will be back, with no cast, a car without a scooter battery and a big hug for the fantastic staff!

CAAbsolutely magic. Staff was incredible, the food was great, but most important was the unique setting of 1,000 year old rooms carved out of the hillside. Highly recommended.
