GBGBAbsolutely amazing experience in a proper berber setting. Authentic, warm and very clean. Massive room for two of us, private bathroom. Very impressed. Beautiful setting, peaceful and tranquil, awesome open air courtyard to sit under the stars. 5 min walk to star wars site, lovely peaceful picturesque walk. Cleaning staff and other day staff friendly and helpful and smiling.
No one at reception after 8 pm so feels a bit isolated. Perhaps an emergency number to contact should be provided. We couldn't get any dinner so went to bed hungry after long travel there because we were two women alone and surrounding is very remote so didn't feel confident to go out in the dark. Would be lovely if there was even a vending machine or snacks to purchase or any basic food in the evening to make do, or someone present to help us get food in as we don't speak the language. . There do appear to be restaurants nearby so if you aren't alone in dark winter this should not be a problem for you. Overall it was excellent though and I would recommend, just take account of transport issues. With own car it would be super!
