The location is perfect.

Pekný apartmán priamo v centre mesta. Lokalita je top. Komunikácia s ubytovaním veľmi dobrá, majitel ochotný poradiť, pomôcť s uložením batožiny po check out. Klimatizacia aj WiFi fungovali veľmi dobre. Postele sú pohodlné. Apartmán je čistý a voňavý.

Niektoré riady v skrini neboli umyté.

Konum olarak harika bir yerde. Meydana, gezip görmek isteyeceğiniz yerlere ve oturabileceğiniz cafe ile restaurantlara çok yakın. Her yere yürüme mesafesinde. Ev sahibi Petar çok ilgili ve yardımcı olan birisi.

The apmt itself is beautiful. Very spacious. Airy, small balcony as well. 2 proper cozy bedrooms with doors, living room with sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with shower) and a small kitchenette. Freshly painted walls, bathrooms with good tiling, the furniture is good, tastefully arranged, very well designed lighting and accent lighting in the entire house and even the paintings on the walls and some art decor around the house makes it a liveable property and easily a place you can stay for longer periods of time comfortably. The apartment is located above a popular mall and is absolutely in the center of the most interesting touristic areas of Skopje so in terms of location, it is fantastic. Access to the property is via keypad both the common building entrance and the apartment so no keys or cards to keep track of. There is an elevator though a pretty old fashioned one which is quite tiny - allows 2 bags and 1 person at most, but served the purpose to the 4th floor. The mall below is full of shops and ATMs for shopping, groceries, pharmas eats etc. The apmt includes free parking within the mall in the price that you pay, which is convenient. One point to note is that you must pay by cash - Euros or local and since we didnt have much cash, we had to go to an ATM in the mall and withdraw the amount and drop it in the living room before leaving.

Let me be fair. The host needs to provide much better instructions and information to access the place. Google maps takes you to a road which is a pedestrain road so we were roaming around a fair bit until by chance we came upon the underground parking which coincidently was the correct parking we were meant to be. Another vital piece of info forgotten to share was that the free parking access card was INSIDE the apartment and for you to use it the first time you need to ENTER the car park with it before you can exit. So when we entered using a payable ticket that ticket needed to be paid (around 20Euros) before we could use the free parking card. This is inconvenient at the least and led to a few minutes of heated converstaion with the host before he agreed to reduce the rent cost by 20 Euros. All this could have been avoided by clear instructions ahead of time. Further there are no easy places to park on the main street until you can go through the mall upto the building and from the apmt fetch the card and return to the car. You would likely get a traffic violation ticket by then for leaving a car on the street. We also had to drop the card back into the apmt after exiting the carpark. location to the building entrance is also tricky at the first instance. Once located, its easy later on. but we had to use the services of a helpful bartender in a restaurant nearby to call the host and get the exact location. Another issue we faced was utilities not working in the apartment. Bathrooms were not cleaned very well, there was some smell. The rain shower was not connected so didnt work. the washing machine wasnt working and neither was the shaving light on the mirror functional. the shower itself had no door so the bathroom was quite a puddle after anyone showered. We had to play around with some of the power points to get the iron and toaster operational too. I would suspect that all this stems from inexperience of the host, hopefully and not inconsiderate attitude.
