The Greyhound Pub

Exceptionally friendly staff, very welcoming and keen to ensure we had all we needed. It all looks quite new and nicely done. A good meal and a well stocked bar were the icing on the cake!

A friend and I rented a 2 room apartment which if kind of is, but a door between the 2 would have been a nice to have. Other than that, it was great - I'd happily stay here again if in the area.

The room was really nice, well decorated and clean and tidy, with good evening entertainment, desserts were amazing! The room looks like it’s had a fair bit of money on it and the kids enjoyed the outside patio to the back of the property, added touches like including breakfast cereal were nice too!

We didn’t like the mattress on the bed, we felt like it could have been a lot more comfy and the back room with the bunk beds needs curtains as the day light woke the kids up earlier than expected, for our evening meal we decided to eat on site we looked at the menu and seen that it was more sophisticated than your average pub, most of us decided to go for the pizza which was roughly round £15 each and was thinking we were going to get a really nice home made pizza however this was not the case the pizzas were very bland and hardly had any toppings and tasted quite doughy: the staff also seemed unprofessional and didn’t really care about service, one of them were leaning all over the counter in the kitchen and were constantly messing around and chatting more than concentrating on service and had to ask numerous times for things.

I loved the bath and the courtyard garden. Plus it is self contained so that was good too. There were teas, coffee, milks, sugars and even cereal and some bottled water which was more than we expected. The surroundings are beautiful fields.

The bath is in the main bedroom as soon as you walk in and there was no door separating it from the rest of the flat. No instructions for the TV, but we figured it out in the end. Couldn't lock bathroom door as it was very stiff to unlock, and my son got locked in twice. But we just didn't lock it.

The hospitality was amazing and book a table at the pub.Dinner was tasty.It looked that we were the first customers of this place and everything was new. We had clear sky and we could enjoy the stars outside of the property.

Perhaps a curtain next to the door to block the light will help.

Quite and wildlife in the field in the morning nice private outside seating area Good restaurant food and a nice pub with live music. Good size car park.

No inside seating or table

I absolutely loved staying here, it was like a home away from home. From having a bath in the bedroom, to having your own private patio area. I was pleasantly surprised with how lovely it was (this was a last minute booking and I’m so glad I picked here!!).

I can’t really pick anything out I didn’t like! Just a bin would have been nice to pop any rubbish we had with us in, but apart from that I cannot grumble.

Very friendly and welcoming from the owners to all the staff. Lovely place and great price, had great live entertainment on our nights stay as well. There future plans will make it a great place to stay for sure.
