Hill House Cashel

Lovely house, well decorated and maintained. Beautiful views over the Rock of Cashel. Staff were attentive and helpful and delicious full breakfast in the morning.

The employee who greeted us didn’t know English well enough to answer our questions. The bathroom is tiny.

The host was so awesome made a fire for me and my wife as we played cards in the sitting room brought us cookies and drinks great place to stay

It’s a very charming establishment with a fanstastic view of the Rock.

We stayed two nights at Hill House Cashel and were extremely impressed! We later learnt this beautiful boutique B&B received the blessing of the Brennan brothers of RTE’s TV show “At Your Service”. Hotelier Francis Brennan is local to us in Kenmare so a respected nod. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with every guest comfort in mind ~ large quality beds, fine bed linens, plush towels and bathrobes. We enjoyed stunning views of the Rock of Cashel from our room. Owner Veronica's communication was excellent and staff were warm and welcoming. We travel through often and look forward to returning to Hill House Cashel again and again!

The green light on the ceiling was the only distraction, yet did not interfere with our sleep.

The view of the rock of Cashel was stunning, the room beautifully presented, clean and tidy. Water, kettle and coffee machine in the room. The bed was very comfortable! The shower pressure was brilliant. The furniture was beautiful. The living room downstairs with the fireplace is a lovely idea very clean and comfortable, warm and welcoming. Cashel is a lovely town about 8mins walk away downhill, more coming back after dinner and a few drinks in the local pubs! The house is beautiful and very tastefully renovated. It was so cozy and warm. Lots of CCTV so very safe. The rooms are huge. Everything was very clean.

There was no internet. I appreciate it's an old house with thick walls and they're not long post renovation, but the TV didn't work and the WiFi didn't work. The man did try and connect his phone to the TV to make it work but it still didn't stretch. But was very kind of him none the less. I was really looking forward to relaxing after walking back up the hill with TV on and a gin and tonic. I didn't have very good 5g either at the time for some reason and I a,m on roaming so it really wasn't massively convenient especially as I was relying on the promise of internet for medical reasons. (Libre family app) The front of the toilet needed some attention to detail, I cleaned it but there was some suspect dusty brown yellow dribbles down it. Everything else was spotless though.
