The place is clean and well equipped. Lovely shower, good mattress. Quiet. Water, tea etc. but no breakfast if you have to leave before 8.

I had not realised that physically there was nobody there until 8 am. As we left at 5 am we never saw a soul. Felt Weird. The place was difficult to find and a 150m walk with stairs. Not easy for me as I am handicapped and walk with crutches. But I had not mentioned that - my fault- however usually there is an indication if a property is not recommended for persons with mobility issues. Maybe I did not see it. The owner had sent a friendly message via booking about how to get there but I purposefully do not have internet while off wifi. A sms would however have reached me. Yes - we are technological dinosaurs in this brave new world so things can go wrong with us. We talked to the owner on the phone and she was very pleasant, kind and helpful. She speaks very good English as well.

Sound isolation should be improved. The sound from the air conditioner, the mini-bar refrigerator and the coffee machine could be improved.

We stayed in a Superior double room with a sea view for two nights. To start with, there was no one waiting for us at the so-called “guest house” to do a proper check-in and explain things regarding our stay (breakfast, etc.). We welcomed ourselves in by instructions provided by voice message from the manager. We left our bags in the “reception”, which is also the “lounge” and I suppose a “snack bar” the property description mentions on Booking. While putting the bags in a “safe space”, we discovered that there is food that the manager offers for breakfast to their guests stored in a highly unsanitary way. I do not expect much, am familiar with what an “Italian” breakfast is – meaning it mostly consists of sweet baked goods and coffee, but sanitary handling with food you offer to guests is the bare minimum. I wonder what inspection would say regarding the HACCP regulations. There are also no proper tables where you would be able to have your breakfast. Only thing offered are the low “lounge” tables on the terrace which are obviously not meant for eating. There is also direct sun in the morning, heating the patio where “terrace” is based extremely hot. The terrace that is mentioned is actually an entrance based on a shared patio which everyone can access, as well as being very loud in the evening with many people there. Once entering the room and looking out of the window it was very clear that this is not a sea view you would normally expect at a seaside “relais” with 250m away from the beach as noted on Booking. The view is mostly on Luna park based very near and also operating every day from 21.00 - 1.00 p.m. with very loud music and a lot of lights. For a “superior” room, you would expect a comfortable bed, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Pillows are beyond uncomfortable as well, overall leaving the bed in the morning with a sore neck.

Very nice place to stay. Good located , supportive and friendly stuff, the room service was every day. Close to the beach, silent and cozy. Highly recommended !

The uniqueness of the place, the marine theme and the hospitality.

The location is perfect, there are restaurants, icecream shops, pharmacy, shops near, and the beach is in only 10 minutes walk away. The host was super helpful and kind. The room was well equipped and clean. (Air conditioning, hair dryer, fridge, etc.)

The breakfast was delicious, but every day the same.
