Super helpful host. Good location (although not a lot of things open around as it was low season).

I went during low season so needed to go to a caffe to get breakfast - which was 500m away.

Great location, with a view over the city! Spacious room, shower and a huge parking in front of the building. Super friendly stuff.

The bed could be a bit stiff if you are not used to.

Liked that we could park for free. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

The stairs from car park to accommodation. Also the information given to access property was great except the only thing we had problem with was were the key lock to enter was hard to find. Not explained well. The lock is on the handle of he door and it is very tiny so it was hard to see even for six of us..

Easy to find and enter, clean enough and on a good location. Free parking near by, and only a short walk to the port. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, there is a bakery right next door if extra is needed.

Beds were too hard, and sound isolation between rooms can be improved.

The room was spacious, modern fixtures and fittings, and cleaned regularly. Although not “official” parking was free in an area where close by parking ticket staff were always present. Location was of the quiet local vibe and about 25 minutes from the airport. I wouldn’t say it’s a good “base” for visiting other places but san Paloa is nice for a day or two at most.

Where to start… Our host/vendor - was polite and friendly right up to the point until we paid our money. Of which she insisted we pay immediately. (Luckily my bank stopped her taking the money from my account before we even arrived). After we had paid, when we wanted to dispute some issues, the tone of our replies soured. The property- we paid for a delux triple with balcony. Lower your expectations around “deluxe”. Lower your expectations about a balcony, (it is a large patio where local children spend the evenings scootering and shouting until the early hours) lower your expectations around breakfast- basic and the same every day. Lower your expectations around privacy, the property is on an estate and you are led to believe this a resort. You can enjoy a great view whilst sitting outside what feels like an old derelict shop. Lower you expectations around facilities. The advert (of which we had the main issue) was over the “pools”. These are not included and we were misled with the advert, and then with the tour of our facilities from the host. To access the pool (NOT pools) you have to find it through a maze of locals houses and gardens, and then pay to use the sun bed and pool. No matter how much we raised about being misled, tried to request compensation and come to a mutual agreement, nothing was sorted and our request was ignored. Great way to start your trip, realising the pictures and descriptions have grossly overstated and falsely advertised what you are getting, an argumentative host who doesn’t have the interests of her clients at heart, and a location where you are not made to feel welcome and intruding into locals lives.

The room was spotless! Liked that it was quiet and even though we didn’t have a balcony, you could sit outside, there is a little table and two chairs.

Outstanding service and communication with manager, we had some issues in the beginning with the number of beds, but they did everything to make it possible, here they really take care about clients Amazing shower facilities and a lot of small details in design, that made my stay remarkable. Small compliment at the beginning, coffee machine - highly recommend. There is a big parking lot near the building, walking distance to the beach, self check-in
