The Dillard House

The nature in the are is absolutely stunning, relaxing and just what I was looking for.

It was a planned part of the holiday trip recommended by friends . We wanted to take the kids to the petting zoo and show them the southern breakfast , we were expecting beautiful view rooms. All of these were not available due to renovation that we were not aware of while booking it, said breakfast is available and petting zoo is there.and the rooms we saw on the website had wonderfull mountain view .However, the manager was kind enough to help us cancel one night , and we ended up staying less without the cancelation penalty.

I love the area. But there was a lot of construction. I know when it's all done it will be beautiful. I love the horses I loved the flowers and the huge trees and mountain views

A lot of construction but I know it will be beautiful. The Dillard house was only open on the weekend. I know it's only and little time till everything will get back to the old days when I used to come. I love the memories of past visits

We took a carriage ride. Restaurant on the grounds. Music. Pool. Free popsicles

In a very one road small town feel way this is very conveniently located down the road from a couple of restaurants and stores. The grounds are very pretty and peaceful. There was the addition of very sweet unexpected surprises including a bonfire, live music, and smores provided by the hotel for all guests to enjoy.

So nice! So comfortable! Fantastic staff, beautiful grounds surrounded by mountains and HORSES on the property!

I didn't like that we had to leave.

It was my second stay, I like the spacious rooms with verandah and the peaceful surroundings. A good place to unwind

charming town, many fun shops and a few good places to eat big flea market on week-ends beautiful surroundings. two other great towns {Highlands N.C. & Franklin } within 30 min. we drive around and enjoy every place. must visit Julep farms a few miles down the road. great place to eat out on the veranda.
