The animals, the view. The fireflies at night are magical!
The construction, the sliding door didn’t lock, water was out because of broken water line for like 5 hours.

Amazing views and blissfully quiet. Rooms are outdated, but clean and comfortable The property is under renovation, which was not a problem during our stay. Staff, friendly and helpful. Def will be back

The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The room was dated but it did have a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. It’s in the country so you dont have to worry about a bad neighborhood. It’s a motel not a resort and they are remodeling so it’s a bit noisy. you park right at your room door so it is convenient and it’s not a roach motel but it is a bit pricy for what you get.

No direct road into the property; it was not easy to find. The furnishings were from about 1960–1970

Heard about the Dillard House for years. We made a trip down that way and decided for once to stay at the Dillard House, we knew the food at the resturant was great so wanted to check out the rest of the property. Will stay there again some time.
