This place is absolutely amazing. It's located on the edge of the dam and the views are breathtaking to wake up to each morning. We stayed in the family cottage and it was very private, cozy and well looked after. You can see that Annelie and Robert are really invested in making your stay with them special. The whole place is very safe and family friendly. Every time we go to Hartbeespoort from now on we will be booking a stay at Shabbat.

The host was fabulous, making sure that we were comfortable at every opportunity. Annelie though of everything! Umbrella at the front door, mosquito spray, crisp luxurious linen and towels, full use of the lapa, braai area and swimming pool. Amazing en-suite facilities, fresh flowers, immaculate grounds and accommodation! This was a last minute booking and Annelie not only accommodated us but went out of her way to ensure that our time spent was unforgettable!

1. It was not made clear to us that the property does not offer self-catering facilities. We had brought groceries with the expectation of being able to prepare our own meals. 2.. Parking was located far from the property, and no assistance was provided to help us carry our luggage. 3. The property’s door could not be securely locked, which raised safety concerns. 4. The main gate was difficult to operate, which caused inconvenience during our stay. 1. The level of privacy between rooms and other occupants was not clearly communicated in advance.
