Walking distance / Near to the Taman Marzuki theather. Plenty of food nearby too.

Probably just the traffic and noises makes by vendor as the hotel is opposite the national library. Hence many youngsters hangout there everyday and worst is over the weekend.

kettle is rusty fixture is old, hardly can find the power socket toilet amenities need to improve - at least put shower cap, sanitary waste bag inside the toilet towel is very smelly

The hotel is what you expect. The rooms are very dirty, in our room the window was out of place and did not close and there was a strip of 3-4 centimeters through which mosquitoes entered. The breakfast seemed to be very good, with a variety of things, but I got intoxicated and spent the whole weekend feeling sick and pumping. Very bad experience this hotel, it is very cheap, but there are some limits that should not be passed: the dirt, the window and breakfast.

Breakfast has fair selection of food. Enough to fill our tummy. Eventhough it is an old hotel, the rooms are clean & have comfy beds. Location very near to major attraction & shopping malls ie Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Thamrin City. Easily accessible via Grab. Around the hotel are Garuda Nasi Padang, a few cafes, Indo Maret & Taman Ismail Marzuki is just infront of the hotel. The staff are quite accomodative & helpful. My family & I will surely stay in this hotel in the future.

The toilet floor is quite slippery. The room floor is quite dusty as it left black footprint when I stepped my feet on the white toilet floor.

The welcome is very minimal. We’ve had two rooms for a family of four, and both were not very well cleaned. We’ve had cockroaches in our bathroom. Didn’t figure out if they were coming from outside or from the sink. Towels and bed sheets were simply dirty. We have asked to change them, and added some towels to the room. Despite that, we’ve had similar dirty towels in our room the day after. I had literally to ask new towels every day. We ended up buying towels. The swimming pool also wasn’t clean. You will need to book your timeslot, which I did for my son. The previous guest didn’t respect the timeslot and no one at the reception will care. After a couple of minutes the previous guest came to give back the key, and I have been given that key right away. No one from the staff went to check whether the swimming pool was clean or ready for the next guest… and actually it wasn’t at all. Breakfast stops at 9am, and we wanted to skip it once. Unfortunately the reception will call you and wake you up to come to breakfast. The breakfast itself seems generous, and the lady cooking eggs is surely the only genuinely smiley person I saw during our stay. That said, as for the rest of the hotel, someone could recommend better cleaning of the tables and the floors. The hotel laundry was not available, while mentioned in the hotel description. There was no help from anyone to guide us to the closer laundry. Employees will not support at all and just apologize that they had nos solution to offer. We finally found one in another hotel close by. That gave us the opportunity to discuss with the manager and neighbors. We realized that we could have booked in a better place for the same price. So we definitely felt that we’ve made a bad choice. It’s pretty difficult to feel unwelcome in Indonesia but that’s how we feel at this place. This is really sad.
