The hotel is situated in a lovely location with a peaceful garden overlooking the sea. Comfortable garden furniture and wonderful views. Just a short walk to the beach or Shanklin old village. Our bedroom and adjoining shower room were both spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable. We liked that the cooked breakfast was buffet style,

The only thing that could be improved would be the option of vegetarian sausages at breakfast. Maybe we should have thought to request this in advance of our stay.

Great location, helpful staff

The Keats Green is a beautiful and quirky hote in a great location just a couple of minutes’ walk down to the beach and Shanklin Chine. It’s five minutes’ walk to Shanklin old village too. There’s a lovely garden with comfy seating and a great view out to sea. Our room also has a fantastic view and a lovely chaise longue in the window, where we spent a lot of time watching the ships! We liked the pool table too. Breakfast was fab. Lots of choice and top-notch coffee in a lovely dining room. Steve is welcoming and always available if needed but also very relaxed so a great host. Brilliant stay. Thank you. Hope to come back soon.

Can’t think of anything! It’s being renovated but we knew this in advance and this didn’t affect us negatively at all.

Location was good, stones throw from seafront and walking path. Large spacious room (two rooms joined together). Two bathrooms and one included a traditional bath tub which was good for kids to bathe in.

Old wooden flooring throughout the room which kids, myself and spouse didn't like. No A/C or built in fan (owner had to source a freestanding fan which didn't work properly). Couple of small lights in room were not working. No lift, so walking 2 storeys with luggage was a pain.

Quirky hotel with old fashioned decor and fantastic view of the sea. The room was huge and exceptionally comfy. Owner very friendly and gave useful tips on local walks.

Although it had its charms some of the hotel decor had seen better days.
