We booked this hotel for the Suite Apartment (Two Bedrooms) 20 days in advance through Booking.com and received a confirmed reservation. However, on the morning of our check-in day, the hotel informed us that our room had been overbooked/double-booked and was no longer available. This is extremely unacceptable. If there was an issue with the hotel’s inventory management or booking system, it should have been checked and discovered much earlier. Informing guests only on the morning of arrival is far too late, especially when nearby hotels were already fully booked and we were left with almost no reasonable alternatives. What made the situation worse was that the hotel did not seem to make its best effort to provide a proper alternative at the beginning. Instead, we had to spend a large part of our holiday communicating back and forth to deal with a problem that should never have happened in the first place. It caused a lot of stress and completely disrupted our day. The Booking.com reservation was later automatically cancelled without our consent, which was also confusing and frustrating. However, we did not cancel the booking ourselves. The fact that the reservation was cancelled afterwards does not change the fact that the hotel failed to honour a confirmed booking. Although the hotel eventually booked one room for us at another hotel, this still did not meet our original booking needs. We then had to urgently arrange and confirm an additional room ourselves in order to have two rooms as an alternative. These additional costs were paid by us and were significantly higher than our original booking. This was an expense and inconvenience that should never have happened. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. A confirmed reservation made 20 days in advance should be reliable. If the hotel cannot manage its availability properly or provide suitable alternatives when overbooking happens, guests should be warned.

Spacious accommodation, very clean, friendly staff. Buffet breakfast. Parking on site. The property is undergoing renovations, mainly to the exterior, but didn't affect our stay. Yes we would stay again.

Can't wait to see when fully restored.

The breakfast was Excellent lovely and hot the host could do anything you wanted. for you .
