Two Bed Entire House Newcastle Gateshead - Free Parking

I have nothing good to say about this place. It was awful. It is the worst place I have stayed in the UK. We would have walked out if we had somewhere else to go. Booking.com need to look at their review system as this place has very good reviews, even the day before we stayed. I am now very distrusting of the reviews on Booking.com.

The house was dirty. The floors were not clean and the kitchen had crumbs and spillages inside drawers and cupboards. The oven was disgusting. The garden was completely overgrown. The area wasn't very good and the parking was just in the street. The towels did not look fresh, we didn't touch them. The used sponge was left in the kitchen.

Room for improvement: The living room was cozy overall, but the sofa wasn’t quite suitable for adults—it felt too small , and not very supportive for relaxing comfortably. A sturdier, more ergonomic sofa would really elevate the space and make lounging much more enjoyable

Clean, comfortable, quiet street, parking outside on the street. Close to convenience shop, a couple of minutes walk.

The location was good and the place was clean.

It looks nothing like the pictures. Yes, they took the pictures there, but they made it look so much nicer than it actually is with lightings and angles making it look really pretty, all the parts that need work were avoided in the pictures. It's ok - But it's not as nice as it looks and not worth what we paid imo.

We checked into this property at 5pm on the 5th June and it was dirty. The kitchen and oven smelt so bad we had to open the door to air the kitchen. The cooker was dirty and smelt, the sink needed a good scrub, the skirting boards and entrance was filthy, the paint was peeling off some walls, you could not have slept on the sofa bed as the mattress was so thin. The fireplace was so dusted we wrote our name in it. The garden was overgrown and the grass has been left uncut for weeks. After 30 mins we left the property. We ended up having to drive all the way home so our weekend was completely spoilt. No apology from the owner and he then had the cheek to refund £4 from the £89 and lied that we had cancelled. We have now seen other bad reviews who state the same issue see 26th March 2025 review. See photos and video below

See above. The property needs a deep clean and redecorating and the garden needs maintaining

The house is located in residential area. Very cozy and makes us feels at home during the stay. Everything is convenient and most importantly my other family members are comfortable and enjoyed the stay too. Convenient parking space just on the street in front of the house. Free of charge. Just love the way the property owner prepare the house. Recommended.

Toilet space a little bit too narrow next to bath tub but so far no other major problems
