Villa Upendo Paje

The staff at Villa Upendo are the real standout. Both Mariam and Lilly were extremely helpful & generous, making our stay a joy. We also loved the very workable kitchen as we were staying a long time and needed to cook for ourselves. The location is also fantastic, very close to the beach.

There was quite a lot of noise outside the property on some nights, also the property only has a roof lattice ceiling which means you can hear everything happening in the other rooms.

Very nice guesthouse 2 minutes from the sea, and the staff is very kind and welcoming! We got even invited to have a Tanzanian dinner with them, the staff cooked for us and it was amazing.

The villa is in a very strategic location with access to the beach and a shopping area. A brochure with restaurants around and what to do made everything easier.

Location - close to beach and town centre. Miriam the manager was very bright and bubbly. Happy to have a chat and helpful with any requests. Masai were helpful also. Shower was good - warm water and good pressure

No air con - bad wifi -

No aircon not soundproof lot noice guests and music on phones. Location next to grave yard and dumpside eg plastic bottles. Did mention to owner to cleanup around guesthouse but she ssid it was out of her c ontrol.

We felt TOTALLY at home! Extended our stay for a further 2 nights! Extremely reluctant to check out! We were all up in tears when we left, as we were like family! All thanks to our fabulous hostess Maria, not forgetting Joseph and Kimu. Professional, efficient and so warm and kind! Loved the decor, ambiance and delicious dishes cooked by Maria! Fantastic location as it was less than 5 min walk to the beautiful beach and not far from the cbd. We would definitely recommend anyone to check in already! We will be back Maria and crew. Asante sana! Thank you soooo much for an absolutely wonderful stay!!!!
