Villa Upendo Paje

10/10 couldn’t fault a single thing! Great location close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Room cleaning offered on a daily basis. Mariam was the perfect host, offered us breakfast and dinner & drinks free of charge multiple times. I fell ill whilst staying here and the hospitality was better than anything I could’ve imagined she got me medicine, regularly checked in and monitored me.

It was very hot, be mindful there is no air con so if you’re slightly more western and a wuss like us mentally prepare yourself for the heat & humidity. Obviously it does state this do no fault to the villa.

Beautiful rooms, the location is great, 3 min walk to the beach. The staff were amazing

The only tow things were, one the wifi, you should be near the router so you can get a wifi, but the staff was so nice and helpful, they moved the router near my room. Tow, they didn’t clean my room, but the sharing area was always so clean

The room was tidy and worth the money we spent. The host Nina was very cordial, she has ensured that we were given basic info about the area where its located and where we could find decent food. When there was an internet issue too she ensured that it was addressed. Overall as a host she is fantastic, otherwise the location is awesome and the entire white theme is beautiful 😍

couple of pointers to probably make the stay a bit more pleasant atleast for Asian folks.. fixing a health faucet, increasing the water pressure at the bathroom.. the height of the wash basin is only suitable for folks who are you 6 foot and above.. we Asians average around 5.6 feet 😁. Lastly the mosquito net.. definitely the mosquito out smarted us and had a feast thanks to the net being only 3 sided .. And the help there though they could speak a bit of english they didn't really say anything until asked for..

Super cute, quaint and clean. Great location near beach

No breakfast

Local, right by the beach. The neighbors were so nice, and so was Nina the owner! Felt like a hostel, it was just lack of people (Low season).

There was no glass in the windows so unfortunately all kinds of dust came inside, including some bugs that bit us during the night which we had to get treatment against.

Our stay at Annie's villa in Paje, Zanzibar, was nothing short of spectacular. Annie's employees welcomed us with open arms and a personalized welcome letter that instantly made us feel at home. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness were evident in every aspect of our stay. The villa itself is beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Annie's recommendations for restaurants and local attractions were invaluable, allowing us to experience the best of what Paje has to offer. Annie's genuine care for her guests truly sets her apart as a host. Thank you, Annie, for being such a beautiful soul and for making our stay so memorable.

It is not a very quiet place if you need to have like a virtual work meeting.

Love the place, bright, airy and green. There is kitchen for us to use, completes with everything, pans, plates, etc…they also have wine glasses too! Simple things, but those made my stay more enjoyable.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Nina was really friendly and helpful! The location is nice, close to the beach! The place was really clean and safe! I felt very welcome and like home! Definitely will go back! Thanks for everything!

1. This villa is situated at the road of the beach, within less than 2 minutes. 2. Big comfortable bed with mosquito net, the building was built in december 2022, so new. 3. Fridge + kitchen available but most important GOOD VIBES + great hospitality 4. Amazing decent guests + guards all day so all is safe!
