We came to Amwani Beach Camp planning to stay for just four days… and we ended up staying nearly TEN. And even then, leaving felt impossible. From the moment we arrived, we felt something special about this place. Amwani isn’t just a beach camp — it’s an experience, a home, and a family. Jeff and Grace have created something truly magical here. Their warmth, generosity and genuine kindness are unmatched. They are the heart and soul of this place, and it shows in every single detail. We didn’t just stay here — we became part of the family. We shared meals together, laughed through karaoke nights, swapped stories, and built memories that we will carry forever. Their children are absolutely brilliant — so kind, clever and full of life. Saying goodbye had us all in tears, which says everything about the kind of people they are. The location itself is breathtaking. Beautiful, peaceful, and with such easy access to the beach — you wake up and you’re basically in paradise. The beach feels untouched and special, like a hidden treasure. And then… the turtles. 🐢✨ Jeff literally woke us up when baby turtles were hatching so we wouldn’t miss a single second of it. Watching them make their way to the ocean under the stars is something we will never, ever forget. As if that wasn’t enough, they later grabbed us again when a mama turtle came up onto the beach right in front of the camp to lay her eggs. Being able to witness that so closely was beyond special — it felt like nature putting on a private show just for us. This place isn’t just somewhere to stay — it’s somewhere to feel. To slow down. To connect. To experience real hospitality and real heart. Amwani Beach Camp is incredible because of the people who run it. Jeff and Grace, you have created something truly rare and beautiful. Absolutely amazing place, great beach! Friendly locals! Turtles even hatched while we were there and we got to witness them being released back into the ocean. Just an amazing stay. We will be back. Also tip, ask to stay on the side with Jeff! Him and his family owns part of it and they are amazing! We had family dinners and free coffee :)

La vista desde nuestra tienda-cabaña era maravillosa frente al mar. El personal super simpático, la comida muy rica y vivimos una experiencia increíble al ver de noche como una tortuga fue al frente del bar a poner sus huevos. Nos encantó la estadía sin duda volveríamos.

Nunca tenía papel en el baño y no tiene agua caliente.

Rien, seulement la vue sur la mer (mais ne vous aventurez pas trop dedans car très polluée) et la proximité avec le village de bucana et Duli beach ou les gens y sont très gentils et agréables. Gros coups de cœur

Les cafards, le manque de sympathie du personnel, les repas qui sont servis 1h30 après la commande quand ils sont disponibles et pas mangés par les animaux de la plage, le mensonge de la chambre qui ne fait pas 12m2 mais 5 ou 6 m2

De locatie was geweldig en het eten was ook prima!

Het verblijf was redelijk klein en eenvoudig, maar dat wist je van tevoren. Dat is alleen iets minder als het regent. Het dak van onze cottage lekte dan ook een beetje tijdens de regen.

J'ai loué un scooter depuis El Nido car sinon trop compliqué pour y accéder ou en bouger. Les derniers km sont compliqués car la route est accidenté surtout après la pluie mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle. J'ai eu une tente les pieds dans le sable, face à l'océan et franchement c'est magnifique. Les repas sont excellents. Le cadre est idyllique et avec un scooter il y a de jolis points de vue tout autour, de jolies plages. Les tentes sont confortables et équipées de prises, ventilateur, lampe de chevet. La serviette de toilette est fournie. J'ai passé un super séjour et malgré le challenge de la route à faire j'y reviendrais sans problème.

Les derniers kilomètres mais finalement contente d'avoir relevé le challenge.
