If you like to be in the middle of nowhere with the beach and nice people, it’s the place

all the staff were very lovely and helpful……for the most part. we had repeated issues with one of the staff members. heaps of inappropriate touching and she kept insisting she didn’t work there, and was on vacation and helping a friends at the property just for a couple of weeks. we thought it was really strange how much she was trying to emphasise this point and after reading the reviews i found her mentioned by name years ago. she lied about her age for some reason, telling us she was 27 and we later overheard her telling older boys she was 32…….which was weird. she rented us a bike that had a rusted chassis that quite literally folded in half while riding, luckily we were weren’t injured. We asked to book the tour with the cave, and were confidently told by this lady it was tour C, only to later find out after already paying that it was actually tour B. the tour company wouldn’t let us change, and we ended up on a tour we didn’t want to go on. when we later asked her about this she offered no remorse or resolution. honestly, the food was great, generous portions and pretty decent prices considering what you find in town. the tents and accommodation were exactly what you paid for and the location was beautiful. all of the other staff were very lovely. after a bit of time and questioning and witnessing all the staff wait on her hand and foot, and appear quite frightened when she spoke to them in her native language, we seem to think this lady actually owns the property or is in some sort of management position. You should still attend this accommodation for what it’s worth, just be careful and have your guard up for the staff member/potential owner Ara.

Lovely welcoming staff who are always happy to help (special shout out to Jay!). Dinner is delicious. Beautiful surrounding scenery. Nice, clean bungalows with comfortable mattresses. Decent showers and toilets.

Not the fault of the hostel at all but the beach itself sadly has a lot of litter, and often dangerous shards of glass and metal, which doesn't make it a pleasant place for sunbathing or swimming. However, there are beautiful beaches just a moped or bus ride away. Dinner options are often much more limited than the full menu suggests. Breakfast could be better.

A unique experience for those who want to get off the tourist track.

The mattresses are thin so we didn’t get any sleep. The tents are located on a desolate beach with limited access via a precarious hanging bridge making it difficult to explore the area. The staff weren’t very welcoming either. We left as soon as we could in the morning cutting our stay short with no refund offered by the host. This was one surreal travel experience we won’t forget in a hurry!

Great place away from the El Nido crowds right on the beach. The staff is extremely helpful, the food is very good and the value for what you get is 10 out of 10. Its a hidden gem and I can highly recommend it To the staff: Thank you so much for everything!

The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me book tours and rent a scooter. Even before I arrived, they sent a message about transport, tours and costs, which was very helpful!! Considering it's on a beach, it was fairly clean. There's lots of friendly cats and dogs that come to greet you everyday 😊 the tent was really comfortable, with a fan and 2 power points. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the waves every day. The food was good

There is no flushing toilet so it gets dirty. The shower rooms are made of bamboo sticks, so there's holes in them. If you're in El Nido for tours, I'd recommend staying near the port, as it's more expensive to rent a scooter to drive to and from the port and there's limited other transport options to this place. It's quite far from the port as well. If you're here for just a quiet time near the beach, this place is perfect. The scooter wasn't in the best condition, which isn't the fault of the accommodation but something to be aware of
