Storrs Hall Hotel on the shore of Lake Windermere

We loved how private it was and the hot tub! Breakfast was delicious.

Check in was rushed so we were not able to have our hamper the following morning, the tap outside was spraying, we did tell reception but no one came to look at it.

The view from the hotel was just beautiful. The hotel itself and beautiful and well maintained. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food could be a little better, but the wait staff more than made up for it.

It has a perfect location which you could directly enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. See from the window, that’s another amazing scene which could directly take you to the Spring even inside the room. We came here at a perfect moment which could fully enjoy the sunshine. But seasons are different, and so are the views. Do believe that every moment in Storrs has its own beautifulness. Also, me and my husband had a special moment here which we will definitely remember it for life. We have been travelling around and recording our journey so far for the wedding. And at here, we just had the best video for the beginning of the another journey in our lifetime. We saw there were many couples stayed here who seemed to been together for ages. Maybe one day when we are in their ages, we will be here again to memorise the starting point of new journey. Also many thanks for all the stuff, they are so kind and helpful to help us with our left stuff and the whole stay!! After all, Bon voyage to who will come to this place in the future. Enjoy the time here!!

No Spa facilities

Peaceful, elegant, authentic, the views from bedroom, seating in bedroom window, gorgeous breakfast area and an option of full vegan breakfast. One of the few hotel stays where the reality beautifully met the expectations!

Only dairy milk in room - a couple of oat sachets for non dairy guests would be a nice touch. Probably not a good look for staff when they loudly talk across rooms regarding a clients dietary request....especially when said guest is in hearing distance.
