Casa da Abelheira

We received a warm welcome in this spacious house. It is nicely renovated. We were happy with all the insect screens so we could air the house without little critters sneaking in. The hosts are very kind.

The house was a bit damp, which makes sense on the Azores I guess. The garden was not very appealing.

Our host was amazing! She was incredibly responsive and invited us to visit her family’s pineapple plantation and gave us a wonderful tour.

Hosts are exceptional. Very attentive, responsive, and nice. The house is renovated and equipped with great care. The kitchen and bathrooms are completely renovated and modern. Several machines - washing, drying, dishwasher, dehumidifier, etc. - available for guests. All commodities you might need - towels, tissues, bath gel, lunch boxes, foil to wrap your sandwich if you wish, drying rack, hairdryer - just as being home. The beds are also really comfy, and several sets of towels are offered, even to take with you to the natural baths in the area. We even received a scale to be able to weigh our luggage before travel. The furniture in the room are classic rustic / rural style.

Nothing to mention that would be under the control of the owners.

Ana és Ricardo nagy szeretettel fogadtak, vendégül láttak az ananász ültetvényükön, nagyon segítőkészek voltak mindenben. Élveztük a jól felszerelt konyha, a tágas étkező és nappali kényelmét. A ház mellett könnyű parkolni.

Az ágyak kicsit keskenyek és rövidek voltak.

The location is very good if you have a car, close to the airport, centrally located in the island and also close to the center of Ponta Delgada. Yet it is in the quiet place and there is always parking nearby. The house is very spacious and has a character. It's nice to have laundry. The small treats like a pineapple jam, cookies, coffee pods, milk were very appreciated. We recommend to visit the ruin next door.

It wasn't very clear to us how to enter when we first came. Had to call the host which isn't easy with a foreign phone.

la casa es, magnifica, con todo lo que se puede necesitar, 5 camas, 2 sofas, lavadora, secadora, calefactor, una jarra para hacer potable el agua, un monton de menaje, en zona tranquila. Los anfitriones de 10!!! nos dejaron un monton de fruta, hay de todo para cocinar, y hay sitio de sobra para aparcar en la calle.

Muy buen lugar para alojarse, en un lugar muy tranquilo. El alojamiento está en el piso bajo de la casa aunque en las fotos se ve que tiene dos pisos. Son tres habitaciones y dos baños, uno de ellos dentro de una de las habitaciones, con gel de ducha y champú en ambos. Cocina bien equipada. Facilidades para la separación de los residuos: envases, papel...etc Tiene un jardín alrededor . Las fotos que aparecen en Booking son reales. Hay muchas plazas de parking gratis junto a la casa. Nos dejaron una variedad de alimentos locales que fue una maravilla, incluida una exquisita piña de su plantación la cual visitamos y donde Ana nos explicó todo el proceso de crecimiento y cuidado de las plantas. Allí pudimos degustar un buenísimo zumo de las mismas. Los anfitriones estuvieron disponibles en todo momento para lo que necesitáramos.

La longitud de las camas. Son cortas. Las personas altas no caben con comodidad.
