Casa da Abelheira

The house is in a quiet neighborhood. 3 bedrooms, one with a bathroom. Kitchen is more than complete. Bathroom is 'comfy'. Everything was spotless clean. We found some 'goodies' when we arrived which was such a nice surprise since we arrived pretty late. Many other amenities were kindly provided. The house is perfectly located to travel around and one can park a car easily. Do visit 'Reserva Florestal de Recreio do Pinhal da Paz'. Ana is kind and very attentive. She invited us to their pineapple plantation and showed us around. We followed some of her tips about the island and I am happy we did.

There is nothing not to like. The house however could become even more amazing with some developments in the garden. Tall people might find the beds a bit short.

Casa molto carina, pulita, dotata di ogni necessità e completa di tutti gli elettrodomestici. La posizione abbastanza buona, il centro è raggiungibile comodamente con un mezzo, parcheggio gratuito disponibile in prossimità. L'host Ana è stata veramente gentile e pronta nella comunicazione, ci ha accolto dopo la mezzanotte, ha dato supporto per il servizio navetta dall'aeroporto, ci ha offerto frutta fresca e altri prodotti per la colazione.

Unico appunto riguardante i letti, alla francese un po' corti e con il materasso non proprio comodissimo.

A casa correspondeu completamente às nossas expectativas. Tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Bem localizada, num sitio tranquilo e próximo de supermercados. Os nossos anfitriões, Ana e Ricardo foram inexcedíveis, sempre disponíveis para ajudar, com boas dicas e muitos miminhos. Recomendamos!

The place is wonderful. We had a great time. It's spacious, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en-suite, a big dining room, kitchen area and a living room. There's also a garden, where had a bbq. Great place to stay for a family, enough beds for six. Most of all I have to emphasize the hosts. Ana and Ricardo were so welcoming, even took us around their pineapple plantation. We felt like VIPs. And at the end, I managed to forget my mobile phone at the house, couldn't get back in because we left the key inside and it was locked already, so while we went to the airport, to check-in, they got the phone and brought it to the airport. If they hadn't, I would have probably missed the flight. Can't recommend the place enough.

One of us had a bit of a snag with a hard mattress, couldn't sleep well the first night, but again, Ana and Ricardo to the rescue, they helped out right away, getting an over-the-mattress soft overlay thingie, and it was much better from then on. This is actually more of a positive than a negative, but hey, that's just the kind of place this is.

La casa és comfortable, molt espaiosa i néta. Està a un lloc molt tranquil i és fàcil arribar-hi des de l'aeroport. Els amfitrions molt amables i servicials. Ens vàren un fer una visita guiada a l'explotació de pinyes de la família.
