Easy to find

Everything being done remotely or by QR code ie breakfast, bar. The fact that a young female was alone and acting as a "caretaker" for the premises

Amazing location, comfy beds, felt very secluded, lovely walks nearby. Weather was lovely

Didn't really interact with any staff. No one was on the desk so all self check-in, which was unusual but didn't affect my enjoyment of the stay.

"An absolute gem"

Loved being able to walk every where from this grand old building. Such a picturesque town and friendly people. Room was comfortable and the guest lounge/bar and breakfast room were great! We had some lovely conversations with other travellers.

It was difficult to find anywhere to eat in the town, so I hope for the future The Retreat Hotel is able to bring back their evening meals.
