"A special experience in rural Cambodian village life."

Beautiful, peaceful location on the river. Well looked after by friendly staff. Great food. Roof terrace sunsets, kayaking along the river. Walking to Lonely Beach.

It is quite rustic, but we like that!

The way to go is a bit difficult but also an adventure if you are on your own scooter.

Lily's Riverhouse is located on the outskirts of a small town on the banks of a river. The owner (we called her Mama Lily) is an easy going woman, with excellent command of the English language. The restaurant/bar is the place to meet people of all walks of life. We loved the "happy birthday" song next to the Christmas tree by the future "Cambodia has talent" winner. Wish we could have stayed longer in this wonderful place!

"Great stay at Lily's"

We were instantly welcomed and felt very much at home at Lily's Riverhouse. We stayed 4 nights in one of the thatched bungalows and really loved being at this end of the island - being in the village was interesting and we went all over the island by scooter. Facilities are simple but that's part of the charm. The bed was really comfy. We tried lots of food and it was all lovely. A great stay and everyone was so friendly, we were sad to leave!

Fantastic accommodation ran by a kind family who go above and beyond to make your stay good. Great boat tours where you can fish, watch sunset, and swim with bioluminescent plankton. Great food with a wide variety of options at a very good price. You can see beautiful wildlife, such as fireflies in the trees on the property - which is amazing!

We haven’t down rated lily’s for this as it is personal preference, but we preferred the beaches on the other side of the island (so do research beforehand on what beaches you want to be by!) Also lots of critters in the room - but to be expected so again, not the fault of lily’s! Just for awareness. One ask would be that a new fan is put into the room we were in as it was not strong enough. Other than that, perfect 👌🏼
